This is one of the most famous restaurants in Spain. For many years Juan Mari Arzak was the undisputed number one chef in the country. Today, together with his daughter Elena, he continues to remain at the top both here and worldwide.
Arzak's restaurant, encourages innovation experimenting both with new products and techniques. Following many years Arzak keeps on creating wonderful new dishes and the passage of time only serves to consolidate his reputation as one of the best chef's in the world. In his own words he aims to 'renew and modernize Basque cuisine without losing its traditional base'.
There are few awards that this restaurant has not received. It has: 3 Michelín stars and awards from Relais & Chateau, Traditions & Qualité... together with Ferrán Adria and Paco Roncero, Juan Maria Arzak was one of the chefs for the latest Royal wedding.
Both father and daughter aim to continue the tradition of excellence for which they are so well known.
