This restaurant is worth a visit just to see the specatular views over the Cantabrican sea. However the skill of Pedro Subijana at conjuring up delicious recipes is the main reason for choosing this restaurant.
Although Akelarre has the reputation of being a classic restaurant anyone dining here will find an interesting menu with innovative and daring dishes full of flavour.
The Akelarre Restaurant has its own garden where many of the ingredients used in its recipes are carefully grown. Pedro Subijana has an excellent team of chefs who take great care in elaborating exquisite dishes and mouthwatering desserts.
Pedro Subijana and his team recommend the set menu.
Excellent service and a great wine list.
