This is one of the most established restaurants
in Madrid with over half a century of experience serving the capital. It has a
relaxed, quiet, comfortable atmosphere in an elegant setting.
High cuisine with Basque influences. Arbelaitz (Restaurante Zuberoa) acts as a consultant to this restaurant with José Machado as its head chef. Attractive themed dishes made with seasonal products. The evening set menu is highly recommended and priced at just 42 euros it gives you the opportunity to experience high cuisine in Madrid at a very reasonable price.
This restaurant has faced some criticism for its classic approach something which has damaged its standing in the guides but in our opinion the Bodegon continues to be one of the best restaurants in the capital.
It has a good selection of the best Spanish wines and excellent service directed by the magnificent Francisco Bravo.
