1. Prepare the artichokes by removing the outer layers leaving only the tender middle
part - cut of the rough stalk part
2. Slice the artichokes
so that the pieces are very fine
3. Heat some olive oil
in a frying and add the thinly sliced pieces of artichoke together with the garlic
also thinly sliced
4. Fry the artichoke quickly making
sure it doesn´t burn - drain off any excess oil by placing on kitchen paper
5. Finally put the sliced artichoke in a serving dish
and sprinkle with a little lemon juice and season with salt
