The most expensive provinces at the moment in Spain are Malaga and Cadiz. The Costa del Sol is still very much in demand with property buyers from abroad because despite higher prices, these two popular provinces offer the best property revaluation prospects (29% and 24% respectively) in Spain. However in 2005 this trend has changed, and some experts claim that property prices in Costa del Sol may have reached their peak.
Meanwhile, the
average price of property in Spain's Costa Blanca (where small coastal towns like
Javea, Moraira, Altea, Denia, Benissa... have large areas of holiday villas occupied
by foreign residents), is actually just below the average price of property in
Spain.
